Browiner is the brand of Shenzhen Browiner Tech Co., Ltd., a Chinese specialist in mobile and compact digital radiography. The name combines "brow" and "winner", nodding to the company's goal of reaching the top of mobile imaging technology. Founded in Shenzhen in 2011, Browiner develops X-ray systems that go to the patient, not the other way round. In 2013, it launched what it describes as China's first mobile DR system built on its own intellectual property. Its mobile range now includes the motorised MobileApex, MobileGenius, and MobileSparkler series; the MobileCooper and ManntiX high-frequency units; and three purpose-built Beatle-06P variants: Neo DR for paediatric wards, Emer DR for emergency departments, and Mi DR for general bedside work. Portable systems run from the Beatle-01P handheld through the ultra-light Beatle-02P to the Beatle-05P, 06P and 06P1. For fixed rooms, the PerfoX family covers floor-mounted, motorised UC-arm and ceiling-suspended radiography, alongside U-arm and table DR systems and a vehicle-mounted unit for screening programmes. The catalogue also includes CompaX 500 flat-panel mobile C-arms for theatre imaging, PerfoX 7500 multifunctional and dynamic systems, digital gastrointestinal units, a dedicated veterinary line, and the BRD series for upgrading existing analogue rooms to digital.
Browiner's development record is built on a series of firsts. It secured its first software copyrights in 2012, a year after launch, and was recognised as a national high-tech enterprise in 2015. It obtained CE certification in 2016. In 2017, it introduced its first lithium-ion mobile DR, followed in 2018 by a portable DR with built-in energy storage that can operate without mains power. Production now runs across three manufacturing centres. Research, precision manufacturing, and service all sit within the same company. As a result, feedback from installed sites goes directly into the next generation of equipment. Cumulative installations passed 3,300 units the following year.
Browiner systems have been sold in about 100 countries and regions and are used in roughly 3,000 hospitals worldwide. Typical customers are radiology departments, intensive care and emergency units, operating theatres, paediatric wards, mobile screening services and veterinary clinics. The company runs a formal distributor partner programme, supports its international network with French, Spanish and Russian language resources, and provides manuals and technical documentation through a dedicated user service team. Browiner has also participated in around 500 academic and clinical activities, keeping its engineers close to the radiographers who use the equipment every day. Its stated mission is "care for health, guard your life", guided by the values of integrity, perseverance, gratitude and ambition. With more than a decade spent refining mobile radiography, Browiner offers hospitals and imaging teams a trusted Chinese source of digital X-ray equipment that goes wherever the patient is.
