No. There is no buyer login or registration required. Submit the RFQ form on this page, or email connect@medigear.uk with what you need, and the procurement team picks it up from there. Your enquiry, quotation and order updates all come by email from a named person on the team.
The team reads your specification, identifies which verified manufacturers can supply it, and comes back with a documented quotation covering the product, lead time, certification status and shipping route. If your specification needs clarifying — voltage, chamber size, probe configuration, consumable compatibility — we ask before we quote rather than guessing.
Most quotations come back within 48 hours. Complex or multi-line requests — a full theatre fit-out, a laboratory build, anything needing manufacturer confirmation on custom configuration — take longer, and we tell you the expected timeline rather than leaving you waiting.
Ask anyway. The published catalogue is a fraction of what our manufacturer network can supply. Send the model, the specification, or even a photograph of the unit you are replacing, and the sourcing team will go out to manufacturers on your behalf. A good share of what we supply never appeared on the site.
We supply hospitals, private clinics, dental and veterinary practices, diagnostic laboratories, distributors, NGOs and government procurement bodies. Single units are fine for most catalogue equipment. Where a manufacturer sets a minimum order quantity, it is negotiable on most lines, and we will tell you upfront what applies to your request.
Every manufacturer on medigear.uk is checked for company registration, product certification and quality-system documentation before any of their equipment is offered. We review the technical claims in each listing against the manufacturer's own documentation. If a claim cannot be substantiated, the product does not go on the site.
That depends on where it is going. Equipment for the UK falls under the MHRA regime, with UKCA and CE routes both recognised during the current transition. EU destinations need CE marking under the MDR or IVDR. The United States requires FDA clearance or registration. Gulf states work through SFDA and the wider GCC framework, and South Africa through SAHPRA. Tell us the destination country early, and we will confirm which certificates the shipment must travel with.
Yes. We prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, HS code classification, and manufacturer declarations as part of the order. For destinations that require an import permit or local regulatory registration before clearance, we flag it at the quotation stage so it doesn't surface as a surprise at the port.
Air, sea and road freight are all available, with the route chosen to suit the equipment rather than a default. Temperature-sensitive and calibration-sensitive items ship under controlled conditions. Once your order dispatches, you receive the carrier reference and documentation by email, and the team sends progress updates through to delivery — you do not have to chase a tracking page to find out where your shipment is.
Manufacturer warranty terms are set out in your quotation before you commit, and they vary by product line, so read that section rather than assuming a standard period. For equipment needing commissioning — imaging systems, autoclaves, dental chairs, laboratory analysers — we arrange installation and handover through the manufacturer or an approved local engineer. Consumables and spare parts can be ordered through the same team afterwards.
Free, and no. You can request quotations on as many products as you like, compare what comes back, and walk away. Nothing is binding until you confirm an order in writing.
