The DFX-23B.II is a portable suction machine for ambulances, pre-hospital and field medicine, home care, small clinics and operating rooms. Paramedics, emergency medical technicians, community nurses, home carers, family members trained in suction and theatre staff all use it.
Pre-hospital care is its main setting. Unconscious patients, those seizing, vomiting or injured around the face may need their airway cleared before they reach hospital. In the ambulance, the unit runs from the vehicle’s power supply, and at the scene it runs on its own battery for up to 2 hours. Crews can carry it by the handle to a roadside, a stairwell or a living room, and suction is ready immediately.
Home care is the second major use. Patients with tracheostomies, neuromuscular disease, motor neurone disease or advanced respiratory illness often need regular suction at home. Running at 55 dB or below, the machine suits a bedroom or living room, and its battery covers power cuts and trips out of the house.
Field and disaster medicine, event medical cover, military medical teams and remote clinics benefit from the AC, DC and car power options, which keep suction available where mains power is unreliable.
In operating rooms and small procedure rooms, it serves as a compact unit for minor procedures or as backup suction. Ambulance services, home-care providers and organisations equipping field teams gain most. Automatic charge cut-off protects the battery during long charging cycles, overflow protection guards the pump, and the electrostatically sprayed steel shell withstands daily handling.
