The 3001B is a manual operating table for gynaecology, obstetric and urology services, and for hospitals that perform many pelvic and perineal procedures under regional or light anaesthesia. Gynaecologists, urologists, anaesthetists, midwives and theatre nurses use it.
Gynaecological procedures are its core use. Hysteroscopy, colposcopy, cervical treatments, evacuation of retained products and vaginal repairs are often carried out with the patient awake or lightly sedated. Detaching the leg part lets you place each leg gently into its support, and the split leg part opens 180° for perineal access.
Obstetric theatres use the same set-up for perineal repair after delivery, where women have often just given birth and benefit from calm, careful positioning. Urology lists use lithotomy for cystoscopy, transurethral procedures and ureteroscopy, with hand controls on both sides allowing small, gradual adjustments while the patient is awake.
Between pelvic cases, the table covers a general list. A 20° Trendelenburg and 15° reverse Trendelenburg serve lower and upper abdominal operations; a 15° lateral tilt improves exposure; and the waist board, lifting at least 100 mm, opens the flank with the shoulder support frames. The headboard tilts to 90° for neck extension, the arm-resting frames support upper-limb surgery, and the screen frame marks off the sterile field from the anaesthetic area.
Women’s health units, maternity theatres and district hospitals gain most. A 304 stainless base and column clean easily after fluid-heavy pelvic procedures, and the rotary brake keeps the table steady while patients get on and off.
