Forced Air Removal Design
Steam is injected into the loaded cassette and the polluted air inside is exhausted afterwards, which the manufacturer himself describes as a forced air removal design.
Short Sterilising Cycle
The shortest sterilisation cycle is stated at 6 to 7 minutes, which the manufacturer relates to extending the service life of the instruments being processed.
Three Shortcut Keys
Three shortcut keys are provided for the sterilising programmes, so a routine load is started without settings being entered from the beginning each time.
Freely Set Temperature and Time
Sterilising temperature and time can both be set freely, so a condition is chosen to suit a particular load rather than only fixed programmes being available.
Separate Steam Generator
A steam generator heats to its optimum temperature when the programme starts, with distilled water pumped in and converted into steam immediately afterwards.
Water Quality and Shortage Alarm
An alarm covers unqualified water and water shortage, so a supply problem is signalled rather than being discovered when a cycle has already failed.
Low Condition Cut Out
The autoclave stops working when there is a low temperature or a low pressure, so a cycle does not continue under conditions that would not sterilise properly.
Transferable Cassette
The cassette can be used for instrument transfer and temporary storage, and the unit is described as small, light in weight and easy to operate.
