The ACP-8 serves optometry practices and ophthalmology clinics that measure visual acuity at refraction distances of 2.9 to 6.1 m. The ACP-8 works with the Topcon CV-5000 phoropter, which can control it through the KB-50S controller or through CV software on an external PC, so the chart follows the refraction routine. A horizontal axis tilt places the image on the screen, and a 12 V 50 W halogen lamp lights each chart.
