The ACP-7 serves optometry practices and ophthalmology clinics that refract at distances of 3 to 6.1 m. Its design focuses on one complete chart set per projector, so a single unit covers refraction from the first acuity line to the final binocular check. That suits a practice that wants straightforward chart presentation from a remote with few keys.
Acuity testing covers adults and children in every chart type. Children's charts appear in all five types, and letters, numbers, E charts, or Landolt rings complete the acuity side, depending on the fitted type. E charts serve patients who do not read letters, and decimal or 20/ notation follows the type.
Refinement continues on the same set. Astigmatism and cross-cylinder charts support cylinder checks, and the red-and-green chart supports duochrome work. The binocular stage then runs a balance test, a polarised cross, stereo, congruence, and a four-point test, each viewed through the polarising or red-and-green filters the chart requires. Types A, C, and F also carry a polarised red-and-green chart.
Placement adapts to the room. The projector tilts ±10° to meet the screen, and an optional wall mount, screen angle adjuster, and variable focusing lens expand its installation options. Where two to four projectors stand close together, four remote channels keep each remote on its own unit. The lamp switches off after 10 minutes of inactivity and returns with a key press, so a quiet spell between patients leaves the projector ready for the next.
