Cardiac assessment runs on a phased array transducer with quantification packages where these are enabled. All clinical judgement, including whether an examination is indicated and how findings are interpreted, remains with the performing and reporting clinicians.
Abdominal imaging runs on a curved array transducer, covering liver, biliary, renal and general abdominal assessment.
Vascular access and superficial work are served by a high-frequency linear transducer, where needle visibility along the shaft supports guided procedures.
Critical care areas are reached by carrying the system to the bay, where it works on internal battery for the duration of the examination.
Theatre use is supported where the system travels to the operating department and returns afterwards, with images held for export.
Departments covering several locations from one system benefit from the docking arrangement, since the cart provides a working base between visits.
