General abdominal imaging covering liver, biliary, renal and general abdominal assessment runs on a curved array transducer. All clinical judgement, including whether an examination is indicated and how findings are interpreted, remains with the performing and reporting clinicians.
Small parts work covering thyroid, testicular and superficial structures runs on a high-frequency linear transducer selected at the console.
Vascular assessment uses the same linear transducer with Doppler capability according to the configuration supplied.
Musculoskeletal imaging of tendons, muscles and joint structures is served by the linear transducer with the relevant presets.
Gynaecological work is served where an endocavity transducer is among those supplied and seated in one of the four ports.
Departments running a varied referral base within single sessions are well suited by the port count, since the transducers for several examination types stand ready together.
