For a theatre that will not be recording, this twin-head surgical luminaire is arguably the better of the three paired models. It delivers the same shadow management, since the heads and emitter counts are identical, and the two mounting positions do the work rather than anything electronic. It also restores the full ten increments of warmth adjustment, and that is what a long theatre list actually uses: cooler light for fine detail while concentration is fresh. Warmer light later once eyes begin to tire.
Whether Ra 95 against Ra 98 matters depends on the work. Three points near the top of the index is a real difference, and a small one, and both figures sit well above anything the Blackstone procedure light commits to. Neither number tells anyone how deep red renders, because the Ra average omits R9 altogether, and not one Blackstone sheet prints an R9 value beside that setting.
The absences are the same across all three twin models, and they are the practical ones. No light field diameter for either head. No depth of illumination for either. No arm reach, which governs how far apart the heads sit, and therefore how much genuine angular difference the pairing provides. Two heads hung close together behave much like a single wide one.
No ceiling load figure at all for a mount carrying two arms and two heads. Medigear.uk obtains every one of those figures before this luminaire reaches any theatre at all.
