Wide Sphere Range
Sphere runs from minus 25.00 to plus 22.00D at a vertex distance of 12mm, a broader span than instruments of this class commonly offer to a practice.
Cylinder and Axis
Cylinder covers 0.00 to plus or minus 10.00D and axis runs 0 to 180 degrees in 1 degree steps, with both sphere and cylinder selectable at 0.12 or 0.25D.
Auto Tracking
Auto tracking follows the eye along the vertical axis, so alignment is maintained by the instrument rather than corrected continuously by the operator's hand.
Pupil Size Measurement
Pupil size is measured and reported as a figure in its own right, alongside a minimum measurable pupil diameter of 2.0mm for the refraction itself.
Tilting Touch Screen
A 7 inch colour touch screen adjusts through 90 degrees, which the manufacturer relates to a comfortable viewing angle whether the operator sits or stands.
Motorised Chin Rest
The chin rest handles height adjustment by motor, which the manufacturer relates to easier and smoother operation, with a one key lock function also fitted.
IOL Function
An intraocular lens function is available, providing a dedicated setting for eyes that have had a lens implanted rather than measuring them as ordinary eyes.
Printing and Data Output
A built in thermal printer loads easily and cuts the paper automatically, with data output over RS232 or a wireless connection, and power saving at 5 or 15 minutes.
