Sphere and Cylinder Ranges
Sphere runs from minus 20 to plus 20D and cylinder from 0.00 to plus or minus 10.00D, each selectable in 0.12 or 0.25D resolution steps across the range.
Automatic Mist Target
An automatic mist target is described as reducing the error caused by adjustment, relaxing accommodation so an eye does not focus harder than it truly needs to.
Two Millimetre Minimum Pupil
Minimum measurable pupil diameter is 2.0mm, which is what allows a reading from patients whose pupils are too small for a less capable instrument to manage.
Integrally Cast Rack
The measuring system is mounted on a light rack of integral casting with CNC machining, which the manufacturer relates to stability and good consistency.
One Key Lock Function
A one key lock function quickly locks mobile platforms, so the instrument is secured before being moved, with no need for several separate catches to be fastened.
Automatic PD Measurement
Pupillary distance is measured automatically and the value calculated by the instrument, rather than being taken as a separate step with a rule by the operator.
Vertex Distance and Pupil Range
Four vertex distances are offered at 0, 12, 13.75 and 15mm, with pupil distance measured from 30 to 85mm and axis across 1 to 180 in 1 step increments.
Monitor, Printer and Power Saving
A 5.7 inch colour LCD provides the interface, a fast thermal printer is fitted, and power saving can be switched off or set to 5 or 15 minutes as preferred.
