Corneal Curvature and Power
Curvature radius covers 5 to 10mm in 0.01mm steps and corneal refractive power 33.75 to 67.50D in 0.12 or 0.25D steps across the whole measuring range.
Corneal Astigmatism to Fifteen Dioptres
Cylindrical power extends from 0.00 to 15.00D in 0.12 or 0.25 steps, with corneal axis across 0 to 180 degrees in 1 degree steps on the instrument.
Corneal Diameter
Corneal diameter is measured from 2.0 to 12.00mm, giving a figure that a fitting or a screening assessment ordinarily requires alongside the curvature.
Automatic Position Identification
The best measurement position for keratometry is identified automatically, which the manufacturer relates to avoiding operating error and accurate keratometry.
Three Measurement Modes
Combined refraction and keratometry, refraction alone, or keratometry alone are each selectable, so an operator runs only what a particular patient requires.
Full Refraction Range
Sphere covers minus 25.00 to plus 22.00D at a vertex distance of 12mm and cylinder 0.00 to plus or minus 10.00D, with pupil distance from 10 to 85mm.
IOL Function and Pupil Size
An intraocular lens function is available, minimum measurable pupil diameter is 2.0mm, and pupil size is measured and reported as a figure in its own right.
Screen, Chin Rest and Output
A 7 inch touch screen adjusts through 90 degrees, the chin rest is motorised, and output covers RS232, a wireless connection and a thermal printer with auto cutter.
