Sales Executive
About the Sales Executive role
About MediGear
MediGear works with healthcare organisations, equipment suppliers and technical professionals to make medical equipment sourcing, delivery and support more accessible across international markets. Our work sits between the commercial and technical sides of healthcare equipment: understanding requirements, identifying suitable options, coordinating reliable information, and helping the right people move an order or project forward professionally.
The role
As a Sales Executive, you will turn healthcare enquiries into well-managed commercial opportunities. You will speak with hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres, laboratories, distributors and other healthcare buyers, understand what they need, and keep the conversation moving from first contact through quotation and order.
This is not a script-led sales role. Good judgement, follow-up and accurate communication matter. You should be comfortable asking the right questions, learning medical equipment categories, and knowing when to pass a technical point to an engineer or product specialist.
How we work together
You will manage your own day-to-day pipeline while staying closely connected to MediGear's sourcing, technical and operations teams. The role is measured on the quality of opportunities you develop, the discipline of your follow-up and the business you help convert.
Your role
- Identify and qualify new enquiries from hospitals, clinics, laboratories, diagnostic centres, dealers and distributors.
- Understand the buyer's intended use, equipment specification, budget, quantity and expected delivery timeline before moving an enquiry forward.
- Present suitable MediGear products and sourcing options clearly, without overstating product capability or certification status.
- Coordinate with sourcing and technical colleagues when a requirement needs supplier confirmation, compatibility checks or detailed technical input.
- Maintain professional follow-up through quotation, negotiation, order confirmation and delivery coordination.
- Keep CRM and internal records accurate so that active enquiries, next actions and expected orders are visible to the wider team.
- Develop repeat business by staying useful to buyers after the first transaction rather than treating every enquiry as a one-off sale.
- Represent MediGear professionally in calls, online meetings, exhibitions and customer discussions when required.
You are the right fit if
- You are confident speaking with business customers and can build trust without sounding pushy.
- You follow up consistently and do not need to be reminded to manage your own pipeline.
- You can absorb technical product information and explain it in straightforward commercial language.
- You are organised enough to manage several enquiries at different stages without losing detail.
- Previous experience in medical equipment, healthcare, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, B2B sales or another technical sector is useful, but strong commercial ability and learning discipline matter most.
- You are comfortable working with colleagues and customers across different markets and time zones.
