The SY-BR09 is built for hospital and clinic teams and for rehabilitation centres. The detachable structure and wireless design let a therapist set the system up at the bedside, so a patient can begin training without leaving the ward.
Patients with hand dysfunction from stroke, brain injury, cerebral palsy or hand trauma can train on the system. The manufacturer covers muscle strength levels 0 to 5, so patients with no visible hand movement and those with partial control both have a matching mode.
At the lowest levels, the glove carries out passive training while the patient practises motor imagery. The EEG acquisition system reads the intent to move, and the glove responds with real movement, giving the patient motion and sensory feedback in one action. As strength returns, assisted training at level 2 and active training at level 3 let the patient contribute more of the movement. Resisted training at levels 4 and 5 provides a load for the hand to work against.
Beyond the hand itself, the system trains range of motion at the shoulder and elbow, finger coordination and simulated activities of daily living. Cognitive tasks target attention, memory and calculation. Visual and auditory scenarios and virtual reality games give each task an on-screen purpose.
The therapist keeps each patient's profile and assessments in one place, including the mental hand rotation evaluation. The system saves whole-EEG data from each session, packages it with one click, and replays it on any computer in MATLAB for further review.
