The LU710E fits pelvic and urological examination rooms where the probe stays with the patient and the screen sits separately. Leltek specifies a compatible phone, tablet or computer as the display. The 370 × 74 × 40 mm scanner weighs 412 g with its battery, giving the room a handheld imaging component alongside the couch, viewing device and charging point.
Gynaecology services use the Pelvis preset as an initial configuration for pelvic assessment, with transvaginal scanning within the indicated scope. Early pregnancy assessment has its own OB Early preset and early-obstetric measurement function. The 151° field and adjustable depth, up to 15 cm, define the displayed scan plane. Measurements and retained images record the selected anatomy within the patient study.
Urology departments can select Urology and Prostate presets for the relevant examination. Transrectal imaging is an indicated application, and optional colour, power and pulsed wave Doppler add flow views to the configured system. The optional manufacturer-compatible endocavity needle guide accepts 16–18 gauge needles and attaches to the transducer with a 2° guidance angle. The app presents the acquired image on the paired display.
Within hospital and outpatient services, trained clinicians can also use its wider fetal, general abdominal, paediatric, small-organ and freehand interventional guidance scope. The room's routine combines protective sheaths and coupling gel with cleaning followed by high-level disinfection for endocavity use. Battery recharging and the 30-minute use/10-minute rest cycle are part of that arrangement. Optional DICOM carries recorded images into a configured server workflow.
