The KL09L (LED) is a ceiling-mounted surgical light for operating theatres in hospitals and hospital groups that want a single, consistent light in every room. Surgeons, scrub nurses, and anaesthetists use it at the table, while biomedical engineers maintain it behind the scenes.
General surgery theatres use its 160,000 lux for laparotomies, bowel and hernia surgery, cholecystectomies and breast and thyroid operations. Nine LED clusters converge on the field light from several directions, so when a surgeon leans in or an assistant retracts, the rest of the light still reaches the site. A beam depth of at least 500 mm keeps deep cavities lit.
Obstetric and gynaecological theatres use it for caesarean sections and hysterectomies, orthopaedic theatres for fracture fixation and joint surgery, and urology and ENT teams for open procedures. Colour rendering between Ra 85 and Ra 100 helps all these teams judge bleeding, perfusion, and tissue viability, and the infinite brightness control lets them set the light precisely for each stage.
Hospital groups, health networks and international aid organisations equipping theatres in buildings with different electrical supplies benefit most from its 110 to 240 V, 50 or 60 Hz input. One model covers every site, so training, spare parts and service routines stay uniform, and staff who rotate between hospitals find the same controls wherever they work.
Ceiling mounting keeps the floor around the table clear for equipment and people. The ring handle lets any team member move the head from any side, and the porous head sheds heat from the LEDs so the light stays comfortable to work beneath.
