The KL04L.III (LED) is a mobile LED surgical light for theatres where cases follow quickly and staff time is scarce. Nurses, operating department practitioners and healthcare assistants set it up, and surgeons and their assistants work under it.
Day-surgery units are a strong fit. Lists of hernia repairs, varicose vein procedures and skin excisions move fast, and the gap between cases is spent cleaning, restocking and setting up. A lamp that one person wheels in, brakes and aims in moments takes a task off that list, and 80,000 lux at 1 metre gives each case a well-lit field.
Plastic surgery and dermatology theatres use it for skin cancer excision, flap reconstruction, scar revision and biopsies. Colour rendering between Ra 85 and Ra 100 lets the surgeon judge flap colour, lesion margins, and graft perfusion. The low radiant output keeps delicate tissue from drying during long reconstructive work.
Minor operations rooms in outpatient departments and general practice surgical centres use it for lipoma and cyst removal, nail surgery and abscess drainage. Emergency theatres use it for wound exploration and repairing complex lacerations, wheeling it in for the case and parking it out of the way afterwards.
Because the four-arm base spreads its footprint and the brakes hold it in place, the lamp stays steady even in crowded rooms. Upkeep is simple: keep spare 24 V, 100 W LED bulbs on hand, and the lamp runs on a standard 220 V, 50 Hz outlet.
