The KL01L-ILED-I is an examination light for clinicians who make decisions based on what they see on the body's surface. It stands beside a couch or chair in a consulting or treatment room and brings strong, colour-accurate light close to the site.
Dermatology is its most natural setting. Skin checks, mole reviews, assessments of rashes and eczema, and examinations before and after minor skin surgery all depend on judging colour, border, and texture. Under light rendered at Ra 95 or above, an irregular pigment, a blush of inflammation, or faint scale is shown faithfully, and 60,000 lux at half a metre lets the clinician lean in with a dermatoscope or magnifier.
Wound care and tissue viability clinics use it in the same way. Clinicians assess the colour of granulation tissue, the presence of slough, early signs of infection, and the state of the surrounding skin by eye at every dressing change. A neutral 4,500 K white keeps those readings consistent from one visit to the next. Podiatry rooms aim it down at the foot, and the head’s 75° tilt reaches the plantar surface and the spaces between the toes.
General practice, practice nurse rooms, and minor injury clinics use it for skin lesion assessment, suture removal, foreign body checks, and examination of the eye, ear, and throat. Aesthetic and cosmetic clinics value the same colour fidelity when they assess skin tone and treatment areas. In each of these rooms, the handle jacket comes off for cleaning and disinfection between patients, keeping the most-touched part of the room within the hygiene routine.
