The KL01L-IILED-I (AC/DC) is a mobile light for clinical work. Nurses, healthcare assistants, and doctors use it to examine one patient after another in different places and want the light to come with them.
The ward round is the clearest case. Wound checks, drain sites, pressure areas, cannula sites, and surgical incisions all need a direct look under good light, and pumps, monitors, and beds usually take up the bedside sockets. Battery-powered, the lamp is wheeled to the bed, raised or lowered through its 400 mm of adjustment, and aimed with a turn of the head. Neutral 4,500 K light at Ra 85 or above lets staff compare today’s wound colour with yesterday’s notes.
Emergency departments use it at trolleys in corridors and overflow areas, where fixed lights are absent, and a laceration still has to be cleaned and closed. Minor injuries units and urgent treatment centres move it between cubicles as cases arrive. In maternity units, it comes to the bed for perineal inspection and suturing after delivery, with the head turned to the horizontal.
Community and outreach services are a second natural home. District clinics, school health sessions, vaccination centres, and mobile health units often work in halls and borrowed rooms with few, poorly placed outlets. A battery-powered lamp is set up beside the examination chair in seconds. Care homes and hospices use it at the bedside for skin and wound care, where a trailing cable across a resident’s room is unwelcome. At the end of the session, it returns to a mains socket.
