The KL-T7300 is a ceiling-mounted pendant for operating theatres and anaesthetic rooms, positioned at the head of the table as the anaesthetic service column. Anaesthetists, operating department practitioners, anaesthetic nurses and recovery staff work from it.
General anaesthesia is its central use. At induction, the anaesthetic machine draws oxygen, nitrous oxide, and air from the column; the suction stands ready for the airway; and the anaesthesia gas terminal provides the scavenging or delivery connection specified for the site. Monitors and infusion pumps sit on the trays and plug into the four power outlets, keeping the anaesthetic workstation compact.
Long operations benefit from a stable set-up. Once the arm is positioned at the head end, its friction brake holds it so that breathing circuits, monitoring cables and infusion lines stay undisturbed. If the table is turned for a different approach, staff swing the column to follow the patient’s head.
Day-surgery units running quick turnovers value a fixed, familiar layout, because the anaesthetic team connects the same machine to the same terminals for every case. Paediatric, dental and obstetric theatres, where nitrous oxide is often part of the technique, make full use of the five-gas configuration.
New theatre suites and refurbishments gain most from a dedicated anaesthesia pendant. The floor around the head of the table stays clear of hoses and cables, making the area quick to clean and safe to work in during emergencies. The extruded aluminium cabinet and non-slip trays withstand frequent cleaning, and the German-standard terminals handle daily connection and disconnection for years.
