The KL-T7100D is a composite manual pendant for intensive care units, high-dependency units, and other critical care areas where two staff members regularly work at one bedside. Critical care nurses, intensivists, physiotherapists, healthcare assistants and outreach teams all use it throughout the day and night, often two at a time.
Mechanically ventilated patients are a typical example. One nurse adjusts infusions and checks the monitor from one side while a physiotherapist or colleague performs suction and chest physiotherapy from the other. With a service arm on each side, both can access oxygen, suction, and power without anyone reaching across the patient.
Turning and repositioning, line insertion and wound care all go smoothly when each side of the bed has its own column. Infusion pumps can sit on one arm and ventilator accessories on the other, so tubing runs directly from the nearer side, clear of the bed. Each arm swings by hand to suit the procedure and stays put once its friction brake holds it firmly.
Network connections support electronic records and central monitoring, and the four power outlets supply pumps, monitors, and other devices across the bed space. The German-standard terminals handle frequent connection and disconnection as staff move equipment between patients.
Units planning new intensive care bed spaces, or refurbishing existing ones to support two-person working, gain most. Two manual arms provide flexible, two-sided access with no motors to maintain, and the extruded aluminium cabinets and non-slip trays withstand critical care cleaning routines.
