The KL-T7100 is a manual ceiling pendant for intensive care units, high-dependency areas and operating theatres where gases, power and data must reach the bedside or table from above. Intensivists, anaesthetists, critical care nurses, theatre staff and physiotherapists all work around it daily.
Intensive care is a natural setting. Each bed space needs oxygen for ventilators and high-flow therapy, suction for airway care, compressed air, several power outlets for pumps and monitors, and a network connection for the patient record and monitoring system. The pendant brings those services to one control board above the bed, with a ventilator or monitor on its board and smaller items in its drawer.
Because the arm turns by hand, nurses can swing the column to the side of the bed where they are working, for example away from the patient’s head during intubation or towards the side for line insertion. The friction brake holds it in place, so tubing and cables don't pull when staff move around.
In operating theatres, the pendant serves as an anaesthetic or surgical service column. Oxygen and suction support the anaesthetist, compressed air drives tools, and the four power outlets supply monitors, pumps and diathermy, with cables kept off the floor.
Units that want low-maintenance equipment gain most, including critical care expansions, smaller hospitals and facilities with limited engineering support. A manual pendant has no motor or controller to service, so staff focus on routine terminal checks and cleaning the aluminium surfaces.
