The KL-MT100 is a manual operating table for hospitals, clinics, and field facilities that need full positioning range without an electrical drive. Surgeons, anaesthetists, theatre nurses and operating department practitioners position patients on it across general surgical lists.
Rural and district hospitals, mission hospitals, field hospitals, and mobile surgical teams are its natural setting. Because the foot pump, hand controls, and gas springs are all mechanical, the table works wherever the theatre is set up, with no charging routine or drive electronics for a small biomedical team to maintain.
General surgery uses 20° Trendelenburg for pelvic and lower abdominal operations and 15° reverse Trendelenburg for upper abdominal work. A 20° lateral tilt in either direction helps expose the gallbladder or spleen. The 100 mm waist board lift opens the flank for renal procedures, with the shoulder and waist supports holding the patient on the side.
Obstetrics, gynaecology, and urology use the leg plates, which lower to 90° and open outwards, with leg supports for lithotomy; the seat board supports the pelvis during perineal and vaginal procedures. The headboard drops 90° to extend the neck for thyroid surgery, and the arm resting frames support hand and forearm operations.
Orthopaedic and trauma teams slide the top 320 mm when an X-ray or C-arm image is needed during fracture fixation. The screen separates the anaesthetist’s area from the sterile field.
Facilities with limited technical support gain the most. Controls on both sides let whoever is closest adjust the table, gas springs reduce the effort of moving the back and leg plates, and the 304 stainless base and column clean easily between cases.
