The KL-JC.III is an electric examination table for outpatient departments, GP surgeries, emergency assessment areas and specialist clinics where many patients are examined on the same table each day. Doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and healthcare assistants use it for routine assessment, triage and diagnosis throughout the day.
General practice and outpatient clinics are its main setting. Patients come in one after another for abdominal, chest, back and joint examinations. With the Smart Roll function, the clinician advances clean paper between patients at the press of a button, without leaving the room to fetch fresh sheets or handle used ones.
Emergency and acute assessment units benefit from the antibacterial, waterproof mattress, which keeps blood, vomit and other fluids from soaking in and wipes down quickly. Infection prevention teams value a surface designed to protect the next patient.
Older patients, people with limited mobility and patients in pain benefit from the 300 mm low height, which lets them sit and then lie down without climbing a step. Once they are settled, the table rises to 650 mm so the clinician can examine without stooping. The backboard rises 40° for patients who are breathless or more comfortable sitting up, and for cardiac and respiratory assessments.
Departments with high patient volumes and strict infection-control policies benefit most. The 304 stainless frame tolerates repeated disinfection, and quiet castors with brakes let staff reposition the table and hold it still. An optional infusion stand supports patients who need intravenous treatment during assessment.
