The KL-DL.A is an electric operating table for hospitals and clinics where the building sets limits, whether on electrical capacity, background noise or how easily equipment moves between rooms. Surgeons, anaesthetists, theatre nurses and operating department practitioners use it across general surgical lists.
Smaller hospitals, district theatres and newly converted day-surgery suites often have modest electrical provision. At 300 VA from a standard 220 V socket, the KL-DL.A fits alongside the anaesthetic machine, diathermy, lights and monitors without special wiring. Its quiet imported motor keeps the room calm, which helps the anaesthetist hear alarms and the team communicate during critical moments.
General surgery uses its 18° of Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg for pelvic and upper abdominal operations, and its 15° of lateral tilt for exposure of the gallbladder, spleen or kidney. The 100 mm waist board lift and lumbar corners open the flank for renal procedures, while the shoulder support frames hold the patient on the side.
Gynaecology and urology lists lower the leg boards to 90° and swing them out 180°, fitting the leg support frames for lithotomy. Orthopaedic and trauma teams slide the top 350 mm along its length when a C-arm is needed to check reduction, and the arm resting frames support the arm for hand and forearm surgery. The screen frame divides the sterile field from the anaesthetist.
Units that share one table between rooms gain most from the foot treadle brake, which lets one staff member release it, wheel the table to the next theatre, and lock it again. The stainless base, column and rails clean and sterilise easily between cases.
