The KL-D.IA-I is an electric operating table for hospitals and surgical centres that want one straightforward table for open, imaging, and seated work. Surgeons, anaesthetists, theatre nurses and operating department practitioners all handle it from a single remote.
General surgery uses 20° Trendelenburg for pelvic and lower abdominal operations and 18° reverse Trendelenburg for upper abdominal work. A 20° lateral tilt each way exposes the gallbladder, spleen, or kidney, and a 100 mm waist-board lift with lumbar corners opens the flank for renal procedures, with shoulder support frames holding the patient on the side.
Gynaecology and urology lists use the split leg boards. Each side lowers 90° and opens through 180°, and the boards detach completely so that the leg support frames can hold the patient in lithotomy for perineal, vaginal and transurethral procedures.
Orthopaedic and trauma teams insert the head plate into the leg end when a C-arm needs to reach the body, and the carbon plastic bed surface suits X-ray examination and photography during fracture fixation. The arm resting frames support the arm for hand and forearm surgery, and the screen frame separates the anaesthetist’s area from the sterile field.
The super-low starting height of 560 mm suits surgeons who sit to operate, such as ENT, ophthalmic, hand, and plastic surgeons, and the 90° lowering headboard extends the neck for thyroid work.
Smaller hospitals and day-surgery units gain most from this approach. One remote serves every function, the interchangeable plates and detachable leg boards stay with the table, and the stainless rails and covers wipe down between cases.
