The KL-D III-II is an electric operating table for hospitals whose theatres serve many specialities, including those where the surgeon sits. Surgeons, anaesthetists, theatre nurses and operating department practitioners use it across general, specialist and day-case lists.
Seated specialities benefit most from the 650 mm starting height. ENT, ophthalmic, hand, plastic and maxillofacial surgeons all operate sitting down for long periods. A low enough table keeps their shoulders relaxed and their hands steady. The headboard rises to 50° and lowers to 90°, placing the head exactly where these surgeons need it.
Gynaecology and urology use the leg boards, which lower to 90° and open outwards through 180°, with the supplied leg supports for lithotomy and perineal access. General surgery uses the 30° Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg for pelvic and upper abdominal work, and the lumbar break with waist board lift for renal and flank procedures. The shoulder, waist and arm supports hold patients securely in lateral positions for thoracic, hip and kidney surgery, and the high-level arm support positions the arm for breast and shoulder operations.
Orthopaedic and trauma teams use the carbon plastic surface and 400 mm longitudinal slide when a C-arm is needed during fracture fixation. The anaesthesia screen separates the sterile field from the anaesthetist’s area at the head end.
District hospitals and day-surgery units with one or two theatres gain a table that covers almost every list in the week. The one-key V-shaping and preset forming speed up turnaround between cases, and the electric brake lets the table move and lock securely.
