The KL-D III-I is an electric operating table for theatres that run long lists and are cleaned thoroughly between every patient. Surgeons, anaesthetists, theatre nurses, and operating department practitioners use it, and housekeeping and decontamination staff clean it daily.
General surgery lists use its 28° of Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg for pelvic and upper abdominal operations, and the lumbar break with a 100 mm waist board lift for kidney and flank approaches. Gynaecology and urology teams lower the leg boards to 90° and open them to 180°, fitting the supplied leg support frames for lithotomy positions.
Orthopaedic and trauma theatres place limbs on the carbon plastic surface and slide the top 300 mm along its length so that a C-arm can image fractures during fixation. Shoulder and arm resting frames hold patients steady in lateral positions for hip, thoracic, and renal surgery, and the screen frame separates the sterile field from the anaesthetist’s area.
Busy units with fast turnaround gain most from the materials. Blood, irrigation fluid and disinfectant all reach the base and column during a working day. With a forged aluminium support and 304 stainless covers and rails, those surfaces are scrubbed and sterilised repeatedly without rusting. Imported sealing rings keep the hydraulics tight through that routine, which suits hospitals that expect a table to stay in service for many years.
The foot treadle brake lets a nurse lock or release the table by foot while steadying it with both hands, which helps when tables move between theatres or out for deep cleaning. A remote controller and AC or DC operation keep daily handling simple for every team member.
