The SCD08 suits dental and surgical teams who sit at an operating microscope and prefer a saddle-style seat. SOCO describes a posture close to standing, which the seat's saddle shape allows. The chair is listed for the person at the eyepieces, who sits close to the instrument for long sessions.
A gas lift moves the seat 120 to 140 mm so that the operator can match the eyepiece height; the picture marks heights of 580 mm and 700 mm. The backrest measures 380 × 250 mm and provides a surface to lean against. Armrests of 270 × 100 mm sit at both sides, and a foot ring on the column gives the feet a place to rest.
The 600 mm base and 50 mm casters let the operator move between positions around the microscope. Ultra-fine fibre leather covers the seat over high-resilience foam, shown in blue in the picture. The seat supports a load of up to 150 kg, and the chair weighs 24 kg. The picture shows a blue chair with light armrests and a silver base, which a department can match to a treatment room's colours.
SOCO builds microscopes for dental and surgical treatment, and this chair's range is called the Microscope Doctor Chair. SOCO lists the seat, lift, and base dimensions so the operator's working height can be planned before the chair is ordered. A department can read the seat, backrest, and armrest sizes in the specification table before ordering. The order code is SCD08.
