The SCD06 suits dental and surgical teams who sit at an operating microscope and want a chair built around a riding posture. SOCO says this posture comes closest to standing and creates a 135-degree angle between the hips and knees. The saddle shape of the seat produces that posture, and the operator sits with their legs apart on either side.
A gas lift moves the seat 120 to 180 mm so the operator can match the eyepieces' height; the picture marks heights of 480 mm and 640 mm. The backrest measures 400 × 260 mm and provides a back support. The two armrests (270 × 100 mm) support the forearms, and a foot ring above the base gives the feet a place to rest.
50 mm diameter casters let the operator move the chair around the microscope, and the 560 mm base spreads the weight across the floor. PU leather covers the foam and moulded board of the seat; the picture shows a black seat with black armrests. The marked heights span 160 mm, so the lift covers 480-640 mm. The load capacity is 150 kg, and the gross weight is 11 kg.
SOCO builds microscopes for dental and surgical treatment, and it lists the chair under the range name Microscope Doctor Chair for the person working at one. A department fitting out a treatment room can compare the figures in the specification table before ordering.
The order code is SCD06.
