The four sizes use two tip diameters, 30 and 35, each with two tapers. Sizes 3004 and 3504 share taper 04, while sizes 3006 and 3506 share taper 06. A clinician who wants the same tip at a different taper moves between 3004 and 3006, or between 3504 and 3506. The pack therefore suits a routine in which you choose the tip diameter first and the taper second.
The motor settings are easy to remember. All four sizes run at 350 to 375 rpm, and torque is 1.5 N.cm for the 04 tapers and 2.0 N.cm for the 06 tapers. This leaves one speed range for the whole procedure and a single torque change when the taper changes.
Length is also part of the choice. Size 3004 is listed at 19 mm, and the other three sizes at 21, 25 and 31 mm, so the clinician selects a length together with the size, and the pack keeps both choices visible on one list.
The handle dots help the whole team. Blue indicates tip 30 and green tip 35, so a dental assistant preparing the tray sorts the files by colour, and the clinician reads the tip diameter from the handle during treatment.
