The S-ONE Plus serves dental practices that prepare root canals and want a short system with three sizes and a reciprocating motor. SOCO lists endodontic treatment as the setting, with the clinician choosing the size and setting the motor.
The three sizes step up in tip diameter from 20 (size 2007) to 25 (size 2506) to 30 (size 3006). Taper is 07 on the finest size and 06 on the other two. SOCO describes a single file that completes the preparation, so the clinician selects one size for the canal at hand. Size codes list tip diameter first, and each handle shows the size in the hand.
Motor settings stay constant across the system. All three sizes run at 350 to 375 rpm with 2.0 N.cm of torque. SOCO recommends reciprocation with a 150° forward rotation and a 30° reverse rotation, and it also offers an optional 360° continuous cutting mode for clinicians who prefer it.
Length is also part of the choice. Each size is listed at 21, 25 and 31 mm, so the clinician selects a length together with the tip diameter.
SOCO says the S-section carries debris toward the crown side. The coloured collars give the team a quick way to sort the files. A dental assistant preparing the tray can match yellow, red and blue to the three size codes, and the clinician reads the size from the handle during treatment. The same three sizes serve a range of canal widths from one compact set.
