The G70 serves dental practices that disinfect instruments by cold immersion, and it also suits medical, veterinary and scientific settings that clean instruments the same way. A dental nurse or decontamination assistant places used instruments in the perforated basket, sets the basket into up to 3 litres of the practice's disinfectant, and leaves the load to soak for the required time. Its 3-litre volume and 27 × 17.5 cm basket set the load size.
Lifting the load is where the design pays off. The basket rises above the solution, so the disinfectant drains back into the box and all instruments come up at once. The raised basket is designed to dry dental instruments properly, and the load moves to the next stage of reprocessing as one piece.
Pre-cleaning is a second use. Instruments can go into the box straight after a procedure, ahead of cleaning and sterilisation. The rectangular layout lets instruments lie in order during immersion, which keeps a set together.
Chemical resistance keeps the right solution in the box. The box resists chemical sterilants and commonly used disinfectants, and its polypropylene, filled with calcium carbonate, is rigid enough for frequent professional use. When the box needs reprocessing, it can be autoclaved on low cycles at 121 °C. A practice can therefore run several boxes in rotation, keeping one soaking while another is cleaned and sterilised. The compact format stores on a shelf between sessions, and the box needs no special storage or transport conditions. It ships as one unit, box and perforated basket together.
