The manufacturer positions the HH-TC06 for home care. The users it serves are elderly people, people with disabilities and people with limited mobility who need help to move between the bed, the toilet, a wheelchair and the sofa. Carers use the chair for each transfer, and between them the user stays seated while the carer moves it.
The manufacturer presents the chair for frequent transfers. At each point, its height changes through the powered height adjustment, which runs on battery power. At any everyday transfer point, the chair uses the same powered adjustment to change height. The underarm support system supports the user beneath the arms during transfer.
Toileting happens in the same chair. With its commode function, the chair can serve as a toilet, so the user can use the chair for toileting. When the user goes to the toilet, the chair handles that transfer as one of its everyday uses.
Meals are taken in the chair through dining mode, one of its four everyday uses. The chair that carries the user between care areas therefore also serves at mealtimes.
For a care team handling frequent transfers, the powered height adjustment comes into play at every one. The mobile design and underarm support system make up the other two features the manufacturer builds in to help carers move users between common care areas. For the user, that means support beneath the arms in a chair whose height is set under power at each transfer. A charged battery is what keeps that adjustment available.
