Sliding Seat And Handles
A sliding seat and pull handles let a patient row through a smooth, coordinated stroke. As the seat slides and the handles are pulled, the body moves through a full rowing action, making rowing a useful whole-body exercise in the pool.
Works The Whole Body
In each stroke, a patient drives with the legs, leans back through the trunk and pulls with the arms, so the legs, back and arms work together. This makes the machine an efficient way to exercise much of the body at once.
Row Against The Water
As a patient rows, they move against the water, which gives natural resistance. The water also supports the body and softens each stroke, so the exercise stays gentle and controlled through the whole movement.
Very Low-Impact Exercise
Because the buoyancy takes weight off the body and cushions the movement, rowing here is very low-impact, so a patient can work the whole body with far less strain than on land.
Natural, Adjustable Effort
The resistance rises and falls with how the patient rows, so the effort adjusts naturally to them. This makes the machine easy to control and lets a patient work within their own comfort at every stage of recovery.
Cardiovascular And Strength Work
Because rowing uses the legs, back and arms together and raises the heart rate, it combines strength and cardiovascular exercise in one efficient movement.
Stable, Easy To Position
The machine sits on a stable, wheeled frame, so it is steady in use and easy to position where it is needed, helping a patient feel secure as they row.
