Pulsating Vacuum Operation
Pulsating vacuum is stated at minus 0.92 bar with a limiting vacuum of minus 0.96 bar, which the manufacturer relates to the best effect of sterilisation.
Interlayer Design and Water Pumping
The vacuum system uses injection water pumping within an interlayer design, related by the manufacturer to higher working stability and a longer non-maintenance cycle.
Eight Programmes
Universal, quick, gentle and customs programmes cover routine work, alongside Bowie and Dick, helix, vacuum test and drying programmes for validation and preparation.
Routine Programme Parameters
Universal runs 134 degrees for 6 minutes with 10 minutes drying, quick runs 134 degrees for 4 minutes with 5 minutes drying, and gentle runs 121 degrees for 20 minutes.
Customs Programme Range
The customs programme allows 115 to 134 degrees, sterilising from 4 to 30 minutes, drying from 0 to 30 minutes and between 1 and 6 vacuum pulses.
Test Cycles Included
Bowie and Dick and helix tests each run at 134 degrees for 3.5 minutes, with separate vacuum test and drying programmes running 15 minutes each.
Safety Provisions
A safety door interlock is fitted and over temperature protection operates automatically, so a cycle cannot be opened while running or continue beyond its limits.
Water Quality Monitoring
A water quality monitoring system is described, which the manufacturer relates to avoiding secondary contamination of instruments arising from poor water.
